The Liberty haven’t completely wrapped up the interview process for their next head coach, but the search is possibly nearing its end.
Mercury associate head coach Kristi Toliver, former Nets assistant coach Will Weaver and an NBA Eastern Conference assistant coach are among the finalists to be the Liberty’s next head coach, multiple sources told The Post.
The NBA assistant coach has a player development background, but is currently employed by a team that’s obviously in season.
With the Liberty’s coaching search entering its seventh week, the significance of this decision has to be weighing heavy on general manager Jonathan Kolb.
