Lee Mazzilli will join Bobby Valentine in entering the Mets Hall of Fame at Citi Field during a May 30 pregame ceremony.

Mazzilli starred for the team from 1976-82 before returning in 1986-89.

Post Sports+ recently caught up with the 71-year-old former outfielder.

What was your reaction to finding out last winter from team owners Steve and Alex Cohen that you will be inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame?
