Mike Brown has placed a major emphasis on getting the Knicks to shoot more 3-pointers.

His message is being heard — in historic fashion.

The Knicks launched a franchise record 55 3-pointers during their 133-120 win over the Grizzlies on Tuesday night at MSG, making 22 of them — good for a stellar 40.0 percent. And that is with OG Anunoby going 1-for-10 from deep.

The previous record was 54 in a game during the 2021 season.

Jalen Brunson led the way in the department, shooting 6-of-9 on 3’s.

“We’re emphasizing it, but I think the best thing right now is that a lot of them are good shots,” Brunson said. “We may have some end of shot clock shots, but the way we’re getting them is great. We just got to keep generating them the way we are and just keep making advantages for each other.”

Brown started the night blaming himself for Guerschon Yabusele’s early-season struggles.

Then, he trusted him with his second-biggest workload of the season.

Yabusele played 15 minutes and recorded two points and six rebounds. And it wasn’t like it came in garbage time — 10 of those minutes came in the first half.

Along with Josh Hart, Yabusele was one of Brown’s first subs in the game.

“Yabu played hard and he’s gotta keep playing hard,” Brown said. “I thought his pace was really good, especially offensively. The times he needed to ball screen, he did a great job sprinting into the ball screen, creating separation — he did a fantastic job setting the screen and getting out of the screen.”

Mitchell Robinson missed Tuesday’s game, part of the team’s left ankle injury management for him. Tuesday was the first leg of their second back-to-back of the season — they host the Magic on Wednesday. Robinson previously missed the second leg of their first back-to-back of the season.

In his place, Brown inserted Landry Shamet into the starting lineup and moved OG Anunoby to power forward. Shamet, making his third start this season, recorded 10 points on 3-for-5 shooting from the field.

Including Tuesday, Robinson has missed six of the 10 games this year as they try to load manage his left ankle, which he had surgery on prior to last season, resulting in him missing most of the regular season last year.

The Knicks played on their 2025-26 city edition court and wore their city edition jerseys for the first time this year. The jerseys are part of their collaboration with fashion brand Kith.
