ATLANTA — Josh Hart is missing at least two more games with his sprained right ankle, league sources said.

The starting forward, who was already ruled out of Saturday’s contest against the Hawks, did not travel on the team’s road trip. He’ll also sit Monday in New Orleans and Wednesday in San Antonio.

Hart’s status will be updated before the Knicks host the Hawks on Jan. 2, a source said.

Hart suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the victory over the Cavaliers on Christmas, when his foot twisted on defender Dean Wade. Hart subsequently hit two free throws — he was fouled on the play — and limped to the locker room.

Hart is averaging 12.3 points, eight rebounds and 5.1 assists in 28 games this season. The Knicks are 11-3 with him as a starter.

Another Knick, Landry Shamet, who is over a month removed from injuring his right shoulder, has progressed to on-court activities but isn’t yet taking contact, a league source said.

Shamet dislocated that same shoulder before last season. His contract becomes guaranteed on Jan. 10.
