Heroes and zeros of the Giants’ 38-20 loss to the Eagles on Sunday:

Hero

The much-maligned Jalen Hurts took advantage of a secondary littered with backups and threw for 179 yards and four touchdowns before taking the final series off.

Zero

The vaunted Giants defensive line was carved up for 276 rushing yards by Saquon Barkley (150 yards), Tank Bigsby (104 yards) and Hurts (22).

Unsung Hero

After his big game against the Giants earlier this month, Dallas Goedert had two more receiving touchdowns on three catches for 28 yards. His score just before the half turned a 14-10 game into a breaker.

Key Stat

13: Consecutive losses for the Giants in Philadelphia.

Quote

“The defense got our ass whooped. I hope everybody takes that with a chip on their shoulder and allows it to fuel them.”
