PHOENIX — A’ja Wilson isn’t going anywhere.

Wilson confirmed Friday her plans to return to Las Vegas to help the Aces defend their third WNBA title in four years.

“I know exactly where I am. I know I love Vegas. I’m not leaving Vegas, so I’m not looking anywhere,” Wilson said before USA Basketball practice.

“I’m looking to win another one. I’m looking to defend a championship that we have in Las Vegas. I’m looking to get better as a leader, as a player, so everything else just kind of falls in line.”

Wilson is hitting unrestricted free agency as the league’s salary cap takes a massive leap under its new CBA.

The Las Vegas Review Journal previously reported the Aces plan to sign Wilson to the $1.4 million supermax. She made $200,000 in 2025.

Wilson is a four-time league MVP and three-time Defensive Player of the Year and has spent her entire eight-year career in Las Vegas

Last season, she averaged a double-double for the second straight campaign with 23.4 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

Wilson is the third marquee free agent to squash speculation about her future this week.

Liberty stars Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart both said they plan to re-sign with New York whenever free agency starts.

The WNBA is preparing for a massive free-agency bonanza in which more than 100 players are seeking new contracts.

The exact dates of when free agency will begin have yet to be shared, but it’ll have to be an accelerated process considering WNBA training camps open April 19.

The WNBA is hosting the Portland Fire and Toronto Tempo expansion draft Friday afternoon.

There would be a period where teams can offer qualifying offers before the negotiating window begins.
