A highly unpredictable French Open is coming to an end with today’s men’s singles final.

Alexander Zverev and Flavio Cobolli will face off, with each man vying for his first-ever Grand Slam title.

Cobolli, currently ranked No. 10 in the world, will play in his first Grand Slam final today; previously, his best result was reaching the quarterfinals of 2025 Wimbledon. Cobolli advanced into the final after his semifinal opponent, fellow Italian Matteo Arnaldi, had to withdraw due to illness.

Zverev, on the other hand, has been close plenty of times, and with Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz both not in the tournament, it’s the clearest path he’s had to winning his first Slam. As a past French Open, Wimbledon and US Open finalist, today marks his fourth time playing in a Grand Slam final.
