The quaterfinals of the Olympics 2026 women’s ice hockey tournament get underway today, Feb. 13.

Following some Czech Republic vs. Sweden action this morning, Team USA will play its first knockout game of the tournament against Italy.

The United States is coming into this matchup as the only women’s hockey team still undefeated in this Olympic tournament. Across four wins, they’ve scored 20 goals total (five in each game) and only allowed one goal in the first game against Czechia. On Tuesday, Team USA held Canada to zero goals for the first time in Olympic history.
