For the first time this season, the New York Mets will face their divisional rivals, the Atlanta Braves.

The first game of the three game series is part of Apple TV‘s Friday Night Baseball series, so it will air exclusively on the streamer.

5-5 over their last 10, the Mets are coming into today’s game off a 5-4 win over the Cardinals.

The Braves come into this weekend’s series having lost two in a row to the Chicago White Sox (the third game of the series was postponed due to rain); they swept the Pirates in last weekend’s series.
