The reigning Big East champion St. John’s Red Storm begin their 2025-26 campaign tonight, Nov. 3, against the Quinnipiac University Bobcats.

It’s a season full of lofty expectations and anticipation following last year’s historic season that saw the Johnnies go 31-5, win the Big East, and achieve their first NCAA tournament win since 2000.

This season, they’re entering their first game of the season ranked No. 5 in the country. After going 18-0 at home last season, they’ll open this season in Queens against Quinnipiac.

Last year, Quinnipiac went 20-13 with a 7-10 record on the road.
