After a stunning 0-0 draw against Cabo Verde in their opening Group H match on Monday, Spain takes on Saudi Arabia at Atlanta Stadium today.

Spanish star Lamine Yamal will look to create an impact after remaining quiet in the opening draw. Spain, one of the favorites to win this year’s World Cup, sits at third in the FIFA rankings, only behind Argentina and France.

On the other side, Saudi Arabia and 18th-ranked Uruguay played a 1-1 draw in their opener on Monday, meaning all four Group H teams have a point each following their first matchups.

Spain vs. Saudi Arabia: what to know

  • What: FIFA World Cup 2026, Group stage
  • When: June 21, 12 p.m. ET
  • Where: Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta, Georgia)
  • Channel: FOX (English), Telemundo (Spanish)
  • Streaming: DIRECTV (try it free)

Spain and Saudi Arabia have met three times in international competition, with Spain recording a perfect 3-0 record. Their last, and thus far only, World Cup meeting was in 2006, where Spain won 1-0.

A win for either squad would put them near the top of their group with every team recording a draw in their first matchup.
