After finishing 11th in the giant slalom, Mikaela Shiffrin will ski in her last event of the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics.

She is set to go seventh in today’s women’s slalom event.

Slalom, a fast-paced event, requires skiers to navigate winding or zigzag course marked by poles, gates, or obstacles with precise turns. Shiffrin’s best event, historically, is slalom, and its the one she won her first Olympics gold medal in 12 years ago.
