In the Jets’ season-opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers, all eyes will be on the quarterbacks.

Justin Fields will make his regular season debut with the Jets, while Aaron Rodgers will make his first start for the Steelers after a fairly unceremonious end to his tenure as a Jet.

The matchup will also mark the NFL head coaching debut of Aaron Glenn, who the Jets hired earlier this year.

Steelers vs. Jets: what to know

  • When: Sept. 7, 1 p.m. ET
  • Where: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, New Jersey)

Last season, the Jets finished 5-12, while the Steelers finished second in the AFC North with a 10-7 record. The Jets faced the Steelers in Week 7 and lost 37-15.
