The 10-2 New England Patriots and 2-10 New York Giants are having diametrically opposed seasons.
At the outset of the 2025 campaign, both teams were at a crossroads after a rough 2024. In their 12 games since, Drake Maye and the Pats have trended upwards and are now tied for the best record in the AFC; meanwhile, Jaxson Dart’s Big Blue remains in the NFC East cellar and nursing a heartbreaking six-game losing streak.
Tonight, they’ll meet at Foxborough, MA’s Gillette Stadium for a week 13 contest that doesn’t have much in the way of stakes for either team — New England has pretty much clinched at this point and New York has been statistically eliminated from the postseason — other than pride.
If anything, fans should keep their eyes peeled to see how rookie Dart does in his first game under crafty interim head coach Mike Kafka following a two week stint on the injured list.
