After a rough debut game as the University of Texas’ starting quarterback, Arch Manning is back in action today against the San Diego State Spartans.
Texas dropped six spots in the AP Top 25 Poll from Week 1, where they were ranked at No. 2, to No. 7. The team that beat them last Saturday, Ohio State, sit at No. 1. Manning went 17-for-30, throwing for 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the 14-7 loss.
The Longhorns won’t face another Power Four opponent until Week 5 against Florida, so their opportunity to right the ship begins today with San Jose State.
