Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants haven’t won a game since Oct. 9.

In their eight contests since, they’ve lost their star running back Cam Skattebo, fired their head coach Brian Daboll, played seven (!) playoff-bound teams and lost by seven points or less in four of those matchups.

Tough breaks all around.

And, although Dart’s rookie campaign is all but over, the 2-12 Big Blue will do everything they can to take down JJ McCarthy’s 6-8 Minnesota Vikings today at MetLife Stadium.

Ahead of the week 16 showdown, Minnesota is riding a two-game win streak, comprised of impressive victories over the Commanders and Cowboys.

Giants vs. Vikings: what to know

  • When: Dec. 21, 1 p.m. ET
  • Where: MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, New Jersey)
  • Channel: FOX
  • Streaming: DIRECTV (try it free)

That hasn’t deterred the scrappy Giants, though.

“The main goal is to win. We wanna win,” Interim head coach Mike Kafka said in a press conference on Wednesday. “There’s no substitute for that. I think our guys are playing their tails off, and I appreciate that. We have to continue to find a way to continue to push a little bit more. Where is our edge that we can find to get us over the hump to win a game? We’re battling, we’re playing hard. We need more of that if we want to win.”

If you’d like to see if New York can tough out a W, here’s how to tune in to this afternoon’s Giants vs. Vikings game without cable.

Giants vs. Vikings start time:

Today’s (Dec. 21) Giants vs. Vikings game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET.
