After debuting in theaters just over one month ago, “The Long Walk” is now available to watch at home.
“The Long Walk” is an adaptation of the Stephen King novel of the same name and stars an ensemble cast that includes Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, and Judy Greer.
Set in a dystopian 1970s, the film follows a group of 50 boys participating in an annually televised competitive walking marathon. Each boy must maintain a pace of three miles per hour of nonstop walking for days, and failure to do so after three warnings results in death.
The movie received positive reviews from critics and currently holds a Rotten Tomatoes Certified Fresh score of 88%.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “The Long Walk,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “The Long Walk” whenever you want to.
Video-on-demand rentals are good for 30 days, but expire 48 hours after you first hit play on a rented title.

While you can stream “The Long Walk” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, where there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access. Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.
The 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of “The Long Walk” will be released on a date still to be announced, but you can preorder now on Amazon to receive your copy on release day, November 25.
