Although Netflix Originals are shows the streamer produces itself or has exclusive licensing arrangements for, they aren’t always available on the platform indefinitely. What’s on Netflix has compiled a comprehensive list of 100 Netflix Originals movies and series set to be removed from the platform throughout 2026.

The list includes several animated series like seasons one through three of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, leaving on January 9th, seasons one through five of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power that will be removed on February 21st, and several of Dreamworks’ shows based on its How to Train Your Dragon franchise that will disappear on November 24th. There are also comedy specials like Demetri Martin: Demetri Deconstructed, which will be removed on April 2nd, and movies like the Dutch thriller The Resistance Banker, which will no longer be available after March 11th.

The list also includes seasons one through five of Arrested Development being removed on March 15th, 2026, which is a reminder that not all of these Originals may actually disappear from the platform as planned next year. Arrested Development, including the last two seasons produced by Netflix, was originally set to leave in March 2023, but the streamer reached a deal with 20th Century Studios to keep it around, according to Vulture. There’s a chance the same could happen to other series and shows, or they could find their way onto other streaming platforms. For example, an Originals series called Caliphate that left Netflix in September 2025 is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
