Two games into a season that was supposed to separate the Giants from the misery and ignominy of going 3-14 in their 100th year of operation, there is little daylight between the two. The Giants are 0-2 for the 10th time in the past 14 years. The bottom-feeders are again swimming at the bottom among the 10 other teams that have also started 0-2. They are alone in last place in the NFC East. Will they ever be anywhere but in the basement at any point this season?
The entire roster, though, does not have to be painted with the broad brush of failure. There are those doing what needs to be done two games in. But there are more not doing so.
