Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart had taken a beating in his first six starts under center for the Giants.
Concern over Dart’s physical health — in part due to his aggressive style — had started to grow louder heading into Sunday’s game in Chicago.
This past week, Dart did his best to dismiss those concerns.
Asked about the scene of him being slumped over on the Giants’ bench in apparent physical distress following the team’s loss to the 49ers, the rookie said he was fine. “It’s a football game,” Dart said. “I feel good and excited for this week.”
