Shedeur Sanders’ surprising Pro Bowl inclusion is even polarizing among his peers.

Giants tackle Jermaine Eluemunor called the Pro Bowl a “joke” after Sanders made the team despite an unspectacular eight-game stint, while also seemingly defending teammate Andrew Thomas.

“No hate but the Pro Bowl a joke lol,” Eluemunor tweeted Monday. “AT Top LT in the NFL hasn’t made one yet but if you’re popular you get in. Laughable at this point.”

The Pro Bowl — regardless of the format — has been criticized for many years now since some of the inclusions are rather questionable.

Baltimore backup quarterback Ty Huntley earned Pro Bowl honors in 2022 despite appearing in just six games, and Sanders’ inclusion is along similar lines.

Sanders is replacing the Super Bowl-bound Drake Maye, joining the Bills’ Josh Allen and the Chargers’ Justin Herbert.

While some players aren’t named due to injury, such as Denver’s Bo Nix, it’s puzzling to many how Sanders made the team over the Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence, among others.

Sanders tallied 1,400 passing yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions in eight games, while topping 210 passing yards just once.

Eluemunor wondered why another quarterback from the 2025 draft class didn’t make the cut.

“Like I said no hate but how’s Cam Ward not the replacement?” Eluemunor posted.

“lol both him and (Jaxson Dart) went off this season.”

Beyond his questioning of Sanders’ inclusion, Eluemunor also appeared to take umbrage with how Thomas has yet to earn the honors despite his reputation as a top tackle.

Thomas just completed his sixth season, all with the Giants, and did not make the Pro Bowl while earning Second-Team All-Pro honors in 2022.

The two form a strong pair of bookends to protect Dart, and the Giants will have to decide whether to keep them together since Eluemunor is a free agent-to-be and should draw notable interest.

This offseason marks the first under new coach John Harbaugh, and the Giants will have a new offensive line coach after declining to bring back Carmen Bricillo.
