Cam Skattebo may want that one back.

While at Fanatics Fest on Saturday, the second-year Giants running back, who is recovering from a dislocated ankle and tibia fracture, made an appearance at the WWE stage where fans could recreate the entrances of their favorite wrestlers.

Skattebo chose Triple H with his Motörhead entrance music, “The Game,” but he decided to go off script.

He pointed to his injured leg and then decided to a backflip.

If that already wasn’t too far, Skattebo didn’t stick the landing.

He fell to the ground, landing awkwardly as the Giants fans in the building likely had their hands over their eyes in disbelief and worry.

The 24-year-old bounced back up and screamed with excitement afterwards in an attempt to take away from the big blunder.

The backflip is a signature of Skattebo’s as he harnesses a great deal of energy among the locker room and is knowingly vocal. However, this wasn’t the occasion for it given the upcoming season and his crucial recovery.

Many were quick to guess what words Giants head coach John Harbaugh said after watching the video.

“If I’m John Harbaugh and the Giants, I fine Skattebo. So season-risking reckless,” Skip Bayless wrote on X.

The backflip is consistent with Skattebo’s promise as he is working his way back.

In June, he said he isn’t planning to tone anything down.

“It ain’t gonna change who I am,” Skattebo said. “I had an injury, you know, it is what it is. I’ve still got plenty of football left, plenty of life left, I’m not going to let this little ankle thing bother me.”

“I’m going to get back [to] running people over like you see on the videos,” he added. “It’s going to be normal Cam Skattebo from here on out.”

Skattebo, who was a fourth-round pick out of Arizona State, was quickly a standout recruit and fan favorite as he brought a relentless running style to the Big Blue.

Yet, his rookie season ended in Week 8 when suffering the gruesome injury against the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Skattebo finished with 410 yards for five touchdowns on the ground along with 207 yards in the air with two receiving touchdowns.
