It’s time to dust off your lightsticks, VIPs.

For the first time in over a decade, BIGBANG is coming to North America.

After 11 years away due to military service, the Burning Sun scandal, solo careers and game show hosting stints, the beloved K-Pop group is reuniting for their first headlining run in the U.S. since 2015’s ‘Made World Tour.’

This time around, Taeyang, Daesung and G-Dragon are playing just two (!) shows in North America. They’re set to take place at:

Oakland Coliseum
Oakland, CA
Saturday, Sept. 5

MetLife Stadium
East Rutherford, NJ
Friday, Sept. 11

If you’d like to be there, tickets are available for the pair of huge gigs.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on seats for the MetLife concert was $214 including fees on SeatGeek.

Prices start at $359 including fees for BIGBANG’s night in Oakland.

Make sure to use promo code NYPOST10 for $10 off purchases over $250 at checkout (Editor’s Note: this discount is only valid for users’ first purchase on SeatGeek).

Ahead of this brief outing, the three — without former members T.O.P. and Seungri — surprised their fans VIPs and performed at both weekends of Coachella this spring.

Each show saw them bring 16 songs to the stage, according to Set List FM. Notable tracks to make the cut include “Bang Bang Bang,” “Fantastic Baby” and “Loser” along with fan favorites from G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung solo catalogs.

What was most notable about the performance though were the authentic touches they added to their stage show.

“One standout moment was Daesung’s choice to perform songs in the traditional ‘trot’ style, rarely seen on global stages,” Spartan Shield reported.

“The Coachella crowd responded with enthusiasm, turning the set into a lively, festival-like celebration… despite past controversies, the large crowds that stayed for their closing sets both weekends demonstrated that a group with lasting influence and passion can still captivate audiences.”

We can’t wait to see what they take to the stage come September.

These days, only three members remain in BIGBANG. They are:

G-Dragon

Taeyang

Daesung

What is the Burning Sun Scandal?

In 2019, a number of celebrities and K-Pop group members were accused of alleged sexual assault, date rape, prostitution, drug trafficking and police corruption at Burning Sun, a Seoul night club.

The only BIGBANG player that was involved was former member Seungri who was one of the club directors. He retired from the industry in March 2019 after he was charged with sexual bribery.

New BIGBANG music

Outside of the trio’s solo work, the last song they released was “Still Life” in 2022.

Clocking in at a hair over three minutes, the track starts on a sentimental note in Korean before exploding into full-throated ballad territory halfway in and ultimately sticking the landing with an emphatic “la la la” singalong to close the tune.

It’s not exactly high-octane like “BANG BANG BANG” but gets the job done.

Huge K-Pop groups on tour in 2026

While BIGBANG only has two shows scheduled this year, many iconic K-Pop acts have much longer runs planned these next few months.

Here are just six of our favorites you won’t want to miss live.

• BTS

• Enhypen

• BINI

• AESPA

• IVE

• Cortis

Also, make sure to check out LISA’s ‘Viva La Lisa’ Las Vegas residency, which goes down this November at Caesars Palace. We have a feeling she has something special planned.
