“Octopus’ Garden” is open for business once again.
Ringo Starr just announced a fall 2026 tour that will send him and his All-Starr Band to stadiums, arenas, theaters, arts centers, amphitheaters and music halls all over North America from late September through early October.
That includes (a fab) four concerts in New York and New Jersey. They’re scheduled to take place at:

The gig at Forest Hills will be the Rock Hall of Famer’s first at the venue since he performed there with The Beatles in 1964 and ’65.
All-Starr band members — all of whom are classic rock legends in their own right — joining the newly-minted 86-year-old on the road include Men at Work’s Colin Hay, Aerosmith’s Buck Johnson, Average White Band’s Hamish Stuart and Toto‘s Steve Lukather and Warren Ham.
Prior to the run, Starr and co. toured all over the West Coast in June. Based on our findings at Set List FM, they performed Beatles classics (“Yellow Submarine,” “With A Little Help From My Friends” and, of course, “Octopus’ Garden”), Ringo solo cuts (“Photograph,” “It’ Don’t Come Easy,” “Choose Love”), classic covers (Carl Perkins, Isley Brothers, The Shirelles) and tracks from The All-Starr’s groups (Toto got “Rosanna,” “Hold The Line” and “Africa” while Men at Work delivered “Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now” and The Average White Band rocked “Cut the Cake”).
Interestingly, only one song from Starr’s recently-released record “Long Long Road” made the cut; that was the trippy “Choose Love.” No tunes from his “Home To Us” duet with Paul McCartney on May ’26’s “The Boys of Dungeon Lane” were performed.
“If you’re a Beatles fan, make sure you see Ringo live even if ‘It Don’t Come Easy,’” The Post wrote in June ’25 after seeing Starr live at Radio City. “Right now, he’s as sprightly as ever at almost 85 but who knows how long he’ll be at this level?”

Ringo Starr new music
“Long Long Road,” Ringo’s 22nd studio album, hit shelves on April 24.
This time around, the elder statesman rocker has delivered a gentle, sentimental tour de force of emotive country rock.
Kicking off the winsome record is the sad and sweet “Returning Without Tears” that finds the Brit dabbling in Americana with a touch of Irish folk. Delightful.
From there, other standouts include the jaunty crowd pleaser “Baby Don’t Go,” doo-wop bop “I Don’t See Me In Your Eyes Anymore,” snaky epic “It’s Been Too Long,” romantic,bluesy jam “You and I (Wave of Love)” and swirling Beatles-esque “Choose Love.”
Stick around to the bitter end for the heartbreaking, kick the can, cry your eyes out anthem “She’s Gone” and harmonious title track “Long Long Road” that closes the album.
Clearly there’s still more gas in the tank here.

Who is in the All Starr Band?
Starr’s All Starrs all have very impressive resumes.

Colin Hay might look and sound familiar. In addition to playing with Ringo, he also fronted the popular group Men At Work.
Steve Lukather did a little bit of everything when he played with Toto. Most notably, he served as the “Hold The Line” group’s singer and guitarist.
Gregg Bissonette drums. He also gets around. You may have seen him and his kit onstage with Spinal Tap, The David Lee Roth Band, or Electric Light Orchestra.
Hamish Stuart was the bassist for the Average White Band. He also played alongside the Paul McCartney Band.
Warren Ham has played multiple instruments for multiple iconic classic rock outfits including Kansas, Toto. He’s also jammed on tour with Donna Summer and Olivia Newton-John.
Buck Johnson made his bones playing with Aerosmith and acting as their keyboardist, backing vocalist and acoustic guitarist. He’s also performed with the supergroup Hollywood Vampires and his country band Whiskey Falls.
