The college football world may be focused on Miami vs. Louisville, but the showdown between Nebraska and Minnesota will also attract plenty of wandering eyes.
The Cornhuskers are ranked No. 25 in the country and 5-1, so they’re in the mix in the Big Ten and College Football Playoff, but the real reason everybody will be tuning in will be to hear Matt Rhule’s reaction to being connected to the vacancy at Penn State.
We’ll see if the Huskers are distracted by the noise in this Friday night clash.

What our Post expert thinks about Nebraska vs. Minnesota
It would be quite a cruel twist if Rhule, a Penn State alum, gets his head turned by the Nittany Lions. It’s been years since Nebraska was on solid footing this late in a campaign, and Rhule certainly deserves a lot of the credit for getting the Huskers back on track.
With a manageable schedule ahead of them, the Huskers could make some noise in the Big Ten and beyond, so long as they don’t get distracted by the rumors.
