The Cubs have jumped out to leads in both games in this series, and that hasn’t amounted to much. In Game 1, Michael Busch homered to right center to give the Cubs an early lead, only watch the Brewers scored six runs in the bottom of the frame en route to a 9-3 win.
In Game 2, they scored three runs to open the game on a Seiya Suzuki homer. The Brewers matched that again in the bottom of the first, then tacked on four more runs in the third and fourth innings to put the game away.
