The Giants are stuck playing the song “Here We Go Again” like a broken record on Groundhog Day.

No matter how you phrase it, the Giants are trapped playing the same game over and over: A detail or two might change, but it all adds up to five blown fourth-quarter leads and an NFL-record-tying five blown double-digit leads (one in the first half).

And so every Giants fan will be expecting another meltdown Monday night against the Patriots — or the next time there is a late lead to protect.

So are the players and coaches lying when they claim that they don’t feel that same sense of inevitability?
