The Iceman strikes again.

Drake’s terrible record when betting on major sporting events is becoming the stuff of legend in the worst way possible.

Drake’s sports betting results over the month are the latest example that gamblers should probably cash out their wagers if they find themselves on the same side as his sports betting picks.

The polarizing rapper wagered $1.5 million on Argentina to defeat Spain in Sunday’s World Cup with a chance to win more than $5.1 million on the gambling platform Stake.

Drake went all in on Argentina to repeat as World Cup winners.

The massive wager came on the heels of another huge bet that he placed on Conor McGregor’s return to the octagon. Drake had a $1 million wager on McGregor to beat Max Holloway at UFC 329, which would have paid out more than $2.8 million if Notorious won.

But the Drake curse proved to be alive and well.

McGregor, tore his ACL trying to pull off an unnecessary flying kick to open the fight and lost by TKO in just 69 seconds in arguably the most embarrassing loss of his career.

The World Cup was more of a slow death for Drake’s betting ticket.

Spain stifled Argentina’s attack all match and prevented them from getting a single shot on goal. Argentina, which had regularly pulled off dramatic comeback wins, couldn’t muster the same magic in the championship match, especially after losing Enzo Fernández and having to play a man down.

In the span of eight days, Drake donated $2.5 million to bookmakers on just two bets. While he did win $1 million betting on Canada to beat South Africa in the Round of 32, that only negated his $1 million dollar loss from betting on the Patriots in this year’s Super Bowl.

Drake summed up his latest loss perfectly in his Instagram caption touting his Argentina wager before the match, “What’s that saying??? Better luck next time…”
