Conor McGregor is two weeks from returning to the octagon, where he is scheduled to fight Max Holloway at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

As he’s been preparing to return to fighting after a five-year absence, McGregor was spotted walking in the sand at Laguna Beach in Orange County.

McGregor was spotted laughing, dancing and even saying hello to some of his fans who were enjoying their Saturday afternoon at the beach.

Before McGregor was seen walking among fans Saturday at the beach, he has been training in the area.

With fans gathered in a circle, McGregor put on a free workout clinic for them as he sparred with his trainer.

McGregor’s return comes after he had a severe leg fracture during UFC 264, when he fought against Dustin Poirier.

The injury happened after he took a bad step toward Poirier, falling back and landing in the cage.

Initially, the broadcast team thought McGregor had fractured his ankle, but it later turned out to be a leg fracture.

When McGregor suffered the leg fracture, the belief was that his fighting career would be over.

McGregor was operated on by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who has worked with many prominent professional athletes and also serves as the head physician for the Dodgers and Rams.

During McGregor’s recovery, ElAttrache supported him with therapeutic performance-enhancing drugs because of the severity of the leg fracture.

Recently, ElAttrache was questioned by MLB for reportedly providing performance-enhancing drugs to athletes.

MLB eventually said it had no concerns about ElAttrache treating its players.
