Chris Paul finally has a new home — for now.

After being sent home by the Clippers in December, the future basketball Hall of Famer was traded to the Raptors in a three-team trade with the Nets on Wednesday, according to ESPN.

The deal sends Paul north of the border and Ochai Agbaji, a 2032 Raptors second-rounder and cash to Brooklyn.

The Clippers will also receive the rights to Vana Marinkovic.

While the long saga with the Clippers is over, Paul may not ever suit up for Toronto, with ESPN’s Shams Charania reporting that the Raptors “will not require [him] to report to the team and could still discuss trades involving him over the next day.”

In any case, Paul escapes a toxic situation in what is his final season in the league.

Paul, 40, announced in November that he was retiring after this season.

“What a ride,” Paul wrote on X. “Still so much left…GRATEFUL for this last one!!”

Paul, who starred in six seasons with the Clippers during the 2010s, was let go for what some team decision-makers considered to be a disruptive outspoken attitude, per ESPN.

Paul spoke out about the breakup in December, saying he doesn’t “regret anything” about how it ended in Los Angeles.

“I’m actually at peace with everything,” Paul said. “More than anything, I’m excited about being around and getting a chance to play a small role in whatever anything looks like next.”

After the divorce, the Clippers were reportedly going to “work with him on the next step of his career,” though there had been little movement on that front until Wednesday.

Paul, who signed a one-year $3.6 million deal with the Clippers before the season, had been averaging 2.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists before the split.
