Chris Lake has played some of the biggest stages in the world, yet it’s New York he always keeps coming back to.

Case in point, the DJ and producer will return to The City That Never Sleeps this weekend for a three-night run at Brooklyn’s Under the K Bridge from June 5-7.

“I still have that moment of, ‘holy s—, I’m in New York,” Lake, 43, told The Post in an exclusive interview. “I still think of myself as the kid that was in his bedroom in Scotland, trying to make beats to get people’s attention..New York is an internationally-recognized word. It’s very difficult to ignore.”

Of course, he’ll be bringing friends along to the Big Apple as well. To keep things fresh, Lake has enlisted different support acts for each night of his mini BK residency.

To kick things off, OMNOM and Stixx will share the stage with the hitmaker on Friday, June 5.

Then, come Saturday, June 6, AYYBO, Lumia and Renegade Takeover are slated to open

Closing out the run, Tiga, Eli Escobar and Ksenyeah serve as Lake’s opening acts for the final NYC show on Sunday, June 7.

These big Brooklyn gigs come less than a year after the Norwich native released his long-awaited debut album “Chemistry.” According to Lake, the album came together during an especially intense creative period.

“[‘Chemistry’] just felt like the right thing to do at the time,” he noted. “I was writing like a madman. It was a very intense period.”

For fans, this means spontaneous Brooklyn shows. Lake likes to feed into the energy of the crowd, changing up his set as he goes, living in the moment. And, if his own description is any indication, no two nights will be exactly the same.

“It’s unstructured,” Lake said of his live shows. “The consistent thing is that I don’t plan anything. I turn up and just go where the room takes me.”

And if you’re debating whether or not to go, the party-starting turntablist’s pitch was a bit colorful, but came down to his love for house music:

“Stop overthinking it, buy the ticket and go dance,” he smiled. “My crowds are so good. I am so fortunate with the people that turn up. New York’s a fantastic example of it.”

That’s exactly why he keeps coming back.

For more information, our team has everything you need to know and more about catching Chris Lake live at Brooklyn’s Under The K Bridge Park in Brooklyn below.

What did Chris Lake tell us about his debut album “Chemistry”?

Lake told us that he didn’t start thinking about “Chemistry” like a full-length project. Instead, he took the album song by song, collaboration by collaboration.

“I focused [more] on the collaborative process rather than my own solo kind of sound,” he shared. “I wasn’t focused on what I could get out of this. I was focused on what I could experience from this.”

Notable collaborators on the expansive record include Amber Mark, Black Lotus, Kelly Lee Owens, Bonobo and Abel Balder among others.

If you’d like to hear for yourself, you can find the 15-track “Chemistry” here.
