SOUTHPORT, England — Bryson DeChambeau did the crime and now has only one choice: Do the time, accept the penalty and man up like an adult and go win the damned British Open this weekend at Royal Birkdale.
You’ve probably seen the videos by now. Both of them. One more damning than the other.
Neither was a good look for DeChambeau, who this week has become expert in bad looks, beginning with his petulant refusal to speak to reporters after his opening-round 67 on Thursday.
The first video shows DeChambeau stomping down high grass around the ball he’d deposited into a poor lie in the right rough on the fifth hole during his second round Friday.
