Myles Garrett intends to keep his “personal life personal,” and that includes his latest speeding citation.

When speaking to the media Wednesday, the star Browns defensive end declined to expand on a driving incident from earlier this month, when Strongsville police stopped him for going 100 mph in a 60 mph zone — his eighth citation for speeding since arriving in Cleveland in 2017.

“I’d honestly rather talk about football and this team than anything I’m doing off the field — other than the back to school event that I did the other day,” Garrett said, according to ProFootballTalk.

The line of questioning didn’t stop there as the six-time Pro Bowler was asked four separate times about the incident.

“People want to know a lot of things,” Garrett said. “But I try to keep my personal life personal… I’d rather focus on this team when I can.”

When pressed again, the 29-year-old responded, “I’m going to need you to ask a different question so I can focus on this team and not, you know, this headline you’re trying to get out of these questions you’re asking.”

Garrett — five months removed from signing a massive four-year contract extension worth $123.5 million guaranteed — was stopped shortly after 2 a.m. on Aug. 9, per public records.

The incident transpired hours after the Browns’ first preseason game against the Panthers in Charlotte.

Garrett was involved in a scary car accident three years ago when his car flipped several times after leaving the Browns’ practice facility in Berea, Ohio.

The former first-round pick sustained “minor” injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Browns coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed earlier this month that Garrett’s latest citation had been addressed, calling the matter “extremely disappointing.”

“He needs to slow down for his safety and the safety of others,” Stefanski said.

Garrett is entering his ninth season with the Browns, who are coming off a dreadful 3-14 campaign.

Joe Flacco, on his second tour of Cleveland, will start at quarterback.

When the Browns take the field for their Week 1 opener against the Bengals next month, it remains to be seen if Garrett will have a special supporter in the stands.

Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim made an appearance at training camp this month after stirring dating rumors with Garrett this past spring.

They stepped out for the Crunchyroll Anime Awards in Tokyo in May.
