Brian Daboll won’t have to wait long for his chance to score revenge on the Giants.

The Giants will host the Titans on Sunday, Sept. 27 in Week 3, according to a source.

Daboll, who was fired last November after a 2-8 start to his fourth season as Giants head coach, is the offensive coordinator for the Titans.

He has not spoken in any detail about the end of his Giants’ tenure.

Giants-Titans also will mark the return to MetLife Stadium of Titans head coach Robert Saleh, who was fired as Jets head coach during the 2024 season.

Not surprisingly, the Titans roster is full of ex-Giants (Wan’Dale Robinson, Cor’Dale Flott, Daniel Bellinger and Austin Schlottmann) and ex-Jets (Jermaine Johnson, Solomon Thomas and John Franklin-Myers).

Another juicy storyline is the first matchup between the two quarterbacks drafted in the 2025 first round: No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward against Jaxson Dart, who actually had the more impressive rookie season despite slipping to pick No. 25.

There is irony in Daboll being at the center of a Giants-Titans game.

His first game as a head coach, in 2022, was a Giants win in Tennessee when he boldly called for a two-point conversion instead of settling for tying the score.

The Giants won that season-opener and it set the tone for a 6-1 start that led to a playoff berth that made Daboll the toast of New York. It did not last.

This season, John Harbaugh will make his Giants debut in primetime on “Sunday Night Football” against the Cowboys.

The full schedule for every NFL team will be announced Thursday night.
