Bills (-1) over PATRIOTS

It’s really hard to win 11 straight games in the NFL, and it’s just about as difficult to beat Josh Allen twice in the same season.

That’s what the Patriots will try to do this Sunday in Foxborough when they have the chance to all but end the AFC East race.

While New England deserves props for being 11-2, it has faced about the easiest schedule one could imagine, with just four games against winning teams.

One of said games came in a 23-20 upset win in Buffalo on “Sunday Night Football” earlier this year, but that should provide motivation for Buffalo.

The Bills have only been slowed in recent weeks by the Texans’ stout defense, and Josh Allen should serve a reminder Sunday of why he’s the reigning MVP in a duel with Drake Maye.

Chargers (+5.5) over CHIEFS

We’re backing the Chargers for their fourth straight game, believing they can cover against a Chiefs team that could somehow actually miss the playoffs.

While the Chiefs certainly should be in back-against-the-wall mode, they have gone nearly two months since beating a quality team by at least six points.

Betting on the NFL?

Kansas City’s offense is maddeningly inconsistent, and the Chargers usually find a way to keep games competitive against their AFC West rivals.

Los Angeles won the Week 1 contest, 27-21, and it has the weapons to challenge the Chiefs’ defense, especially with rookie running back Omarion Hampton back in the mix after returning last week.

Even if Kansas City wins this game to keep its season alive for at least another week, it’s fair to expect the Chargers will keep this game close.

2025 record: 8-18-2
Last week: 1-1; Chargers (W); Commanders (L)
