Apple TV+ MLB reporter Tricia Whitaker saw a little too much action during the Orioles game on Friday.

Whitaker revealed that, while covering Baltimore’s 7-4 win over the Tigers at Camden Yards, she was beamed in the wrist by a foul ball by Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman.

She initially posted the saga on her Instagram story Friday night, showing the Orioles’ training staff taping an ice pack to her bruised arm.

Whitaker also posted a video of her left hand and wrist in a plastic bag of ice with the caption, “Good news: @adleyrutschman has elite exit velo. Bad News: my wrist absorbed it.”

The following morning, Whitaker clarified that she is OK after suffering the blow, and thanked the medical staff for attending to her.

“In case anyone was wondering — Adley Rutschman’s exit velo is still elite. My forearm is proof,” Whitaker posted to X on Saturday. “Found out what it feels like to be the injury update instead of reporting it, 10-day IL, forearm discomfort.”

“PS I’m fine, thanks to the Orioles’ medical staff for the wrapping of my arm and ice all game!” she added.

Whitaker has served as the sideline reporter for Apple TV+ since 2022, and has had a few viral moments during the network’s Friday night broadcasts.

She made waves across social media alongside Brewers skipper Pat Murphy last season for asking him what his in-game snack is — and where he keeps it during the game.

“Rumor has it that during the game, you like to partake in some snacks,” Whitaker said to Murphy.

“I’m like anyone else in the world; I don’t need to be singled out,” Murphy replied before pulling a pancake from his back pocket.

In bizarre fashion, Murphy then offered Whitaker a piece of the pancake — which she accepted and ate on live television.

“Pizza, bagels, what else do you keep in your pocket?” Whitaker followed after eating the pocket pancake.

“Whatever fits,” Murphy responded.
