Talk about a buzzkill.

“Frasier” star David Hyde Pierce allegedly called out his “Wet Hot American Summer” co-stars Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler for drinking and being too loud before his first day of filming the 2001 movie.

“Do you remember David Hyde Pierce coming out [of his room] to tell us, ‘Can you be a little quieter?’” Poehler asked Rudd during the latest episode of her “Good Hang” podcast.

“Yeah, it was his first day,” Rudd replied. “We were all dumb kids, [we] just wanted to have a blast.”

The duo recalled cast members spending most nights hanging out together in the main living quarters, listening to music and drinking beer until the early morning.

“But, reminder, we were not kids. We were in our 30s,” Poehler clarified.

“You were [in your] late 20s, I think I was 30,” Rudd said.

Pierce was scheduled to work later on set later in the day.

“We were all like, ‘What is this guy gonna think?’” Rudd said.

Poehler appeared in “Wet Hot American Summer” the same year she made her “Saturday Night Live” debut.

When the four-time Emmy-winning actor arrived on set, Poehler assumed he was “probably rehearsing” his lines in his room near their nightly hangout spot as they got sloshed.

“It was his first night; none of us knew him, and it was like 1 in the morning, and it’s so loud. He’s filming the next morning, and he’s been in his room” Rudd said.

“He’s a professional. I remember he came out and then stopped in the doorway, and we all — it was like the needle on the record. Stop. Everyone got quiet. We all looked and Ken Marino just goes, ‘Oh great, it’s Frasier.’ Do you remember that? And David Hyde Pierce is like, ‘What are you guys doing?’ Like, he was so fun and cool and it was just like ‘Oh, thank God.’”

“Yeah, he was the nicest, most loveliest guy but he definitely was like, ‘What’s happening here?” Poehler said sternly. “And we were like, ‘Oh, none of us are working. We don’t have anything to shoot tomorrow.’”

Poehler admitted the cast “worked very little” on the film.

The movie came out during the same year that Poehler joined “Saturday Night Live” as a cast member.

The film inspired Netflix to produce both a “Wet Hot American Summer” prequel in 2015 and a sequel in 2017.

Pierce, Poehler and Rudd participated in all three of the productions.
