John Summit may have just peaked.
The party-starting turntablist recently announced his ‘CTRL Escape Tour,’ where he’ll headline arenas for the first time in his career.
That includes a stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Saturday, Nov. 28.
“[I’m] bringing a brand new show all across North America in a way I’ve never done before with full production, special guests & plenty of surprises,” the 31-year-old Naperville native shared via Instagram.
“It’s time to bring the world of CTRL ESCAPE to life.”
For the uninitiated, “CTRL ESCAPE” is Summit’s second studio album that hit shelves on April 15. The lively 13-track record features big name collaborators like Feid, Julia Wolf and The Chainsmokers among others.
“This is a kind of a crazy, artistic journey, and I love to be able to share my story of breaking out of the matrix that is the corporate life and really try to push boundaries as best I can in electronic music,” Summit explained.
As of now, there’s no word on who the special guests joining Summit on the ‘CTRL Escape’ run are.
Ahead of the fall outing, the “Where You Are” DJ is putting on his second Experts Only Festival at NYC’s Randall’s Island on Sept. 19-20.
On this go-round, he’ll be joined by house heavyweights GRiZ, Prospa, LYNY, Korolova and Subtronics for a can’t-miss SUBJOHNICS b2b set.

John Summit new music
On April 15, John Summit released his second studio album “CTRL ESCAPE.”
The record, which is an unofficial statement about “breaking out of the matrix that is the corporate life” captures the energy of disconnecting and living without inhibitions.
This is never more plainly obvious than with the first track, “STATUS:AWAY,” where ringing phones and clacking typewriters disappear as the beat drops and the bass line crystallizes into something intended to shut your brain off and just dance. Sublime.
Other highlights here include the invigorating bop “SHADES OF BLUE,” triumphant fist-pumper “SATA,” trippy, jittery “WITH ME,” shimmery disco-esque jam “DON’T BELIEVE IT” and glitchy rump shaker “LIGHTS GO OUT” that will have you jumping before you know it.
For our money, the true standout though is the cathartic finale “CYANIDE.” Disregard the bleak title and just listen, this one sounds like what finding inner peace feels like. The perfect capper to an exhilarating roller coaster ride.
