At this point in the college basketball season, we have a solid feel for every team.

The betting odds should accurately indicate how each team matches up with one another, thereby forcing us to find a specific situation that favors one team.

I believe we have that in the Mountain West Conference with San Diego State hosting Wyoming as an 12.5-point favorite with a total of 141.5 points at DraftKings, as of Tuesday morning.

The Aztecs are coming off a tough loss at Utah State and should be focused as they look to get back in the win column.

For example, following its only other conference loss, SDSU won and covered as a 4.5-point favorite at UNLV.

Wyoming is just 1-4 on the road in conference play with the lone victory coming against winless Air Force.

Plus, the Cowboys are 0-5 against the spread (ATS) in those games, given their offensive efficiency drops from a 98th ranking in home games to 155th on the road.

The Cowboys have shot just 107-for-265 in their five road conference games (40.4 percent), which includes 107-for-265 from behind the arc (30.4 percent).

The Aztecs calling card is defense, ranking first in the conference and 17th in the country in efficiency.

They should absolutely clamp down this limited offense.

Betting on College Basketball?

However, since the Aztecs offense can go cold for long stretches, I am not exactly eager to lay double-digit points.

I have a 93-80-2 ATS record in this Post sports section.

My next play is Wyoming to go Under its team total of 65.5 points.

The PLAY: Wyoming Team Total Points Under 65.5 (-138, DraftKings)
