Two days after their 12th loss of the season, the Giants made some roster moves.

Most notably, guard Evan Neal has been designated to return off injured reserve, and kicker Younghoe Koo was waived.

Neal’s return to the field is a bit of a surprise, as he was placed on IR in November, with many expecting it to unofficially end his disappointing Giants tenure.

This move now opens up a 21-day practice window.

If he is to actually return to game action this year, it will be his first time playing in a regular-season game since Week 17 last season.

Koo, who started this year with the Falcons, missed two kicks in Sunday’s loss to the Commanders. In five games with Big Blue, he made 66.7 percent of his field goal attempts.

New York also claimed linebacker Caleb Murphy off waivers from the Patriots and signed cornerback Jarrick Bernard-Converse to the practice squad.
