Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Sunday’s game against the Bengals with a left wrist injury.

He didn’t take another snap, and head coach Mike Tomlin said he’d be evaluated more Monday.

Rodgers appeared to get hurt on the final drive of the second quarter.

He was seen holding his left hand and grimacing in pain after he got hit by Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai, who was whistled for roughing the passer on the play.

That Packers drive ended with a 25-yard field goal that gave the Steelers a 10-6 lead at halftime.

But Rodgers went to the locker room before the second quarter officially ended.

Backup Mason Rudolph started the second half under center for the Steelers while Rodgers underwent additional screening.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told CBS sideline reporter Melanie Collins at the beginning of the third quarter that he was “hopeful” Rodgers would be back at some point in the second half.

But in the meantime, “We better get Mason Rudolph ready to go,” Tomlin said.

At 41, Rodgers is the NFL’s oldest starting quarterback.

The Bengals’ Joe Flacco, 40, is the second oldest.

Rodgers completed nine of his 15 pass attempts for 116 yards with one touchdown before his exit.

Rodgers signed a one-year contract with the Steelers this past offseason after the Jets released the one-time Super Bowl champion in March.

The Steelers moved to 6-4 after their 34-12 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
