Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes’ Cy Young win celebration included custom desserts, prosecco and glizzies, as seen in photos his girlfriend, Olivia “Livvy” Dunne, shared Wednesday on Instagram.

The 6-foot-6 right-hander held two bottles of La Marca prosecco while posing in front of large, light-up letters that spelled out “2025 Cy Young” upon being named the unanimous winner of this year’s National League Cy Young Award on Wednesday.

Skenes and Dunne, whose English cream golden retriever crashed the photo, took in the exciting news with family and friends at home.

Other photos showed decorated cookies and a cake with Skenes’ jersey, photos of him pitching and the Cy Young trophy.

Another snapshot showed a grill cooking a bunch of hot dogs and buns.

Dunne, who recently moved to Florida, reposted an image of Skenes holding a hot dog smothered in ketchup and mustard.

“Certified glizzy gobbler,” she wrote.

Dunne also joked there was “much excitement” in the room when Skenes won the Cy Young Award after the couple went viral last year for his somber reaction to winning NL Rookie of the Year.

Skenes, who was the Pirates’ first overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, led the majors in ERA (1.97) while striking out 216 batters in 187⅓ innings during his first full MLB season.

The Pirates (71-91) finished last in the National League Central division in 2025.

Skenes explained that he’s excited to push a strong culture next season.

“That’s what we need to get back to — that gritty, blue collar personality that Pittsburgh is, so I’m gonna push for that… that’s what the goal is,” Skenes said.

“I wish it were February 10th already, or whatever spring training reporting day is… because I’m incredibly excited to do this and to push in this direction for next year.”

Skens and Dunne confirmed their romance in 2023.
