For the first time since the trade that sent him packing in 2023, Aaron Rodgers will face his old team, the Green Bay Packers.

While Rodgers treated his and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Week 1 victory of the New York Jets as a “revenge game” of sorts, he says that won’t be the case tonight against the team he spent 18 years with.

Ahead of the game, Rodgers told the press, “Obviously, I wish that things have been better in our last year there, but I have a great relationship with a lot of people still in that organization, and this is not a revenge game for me. I’m just excited to see some of those guys and be on ‘Sunday Night Football.’”

The Steelers (4-2) are entering this week off a close loss against the Bengals during Week 7’s Thursday Night Football, while the Packers (4-1-1) beat the Cardinals 27-23 for their second straight win.

Packers vs. Steelers: what to know

  • When: Oct. 26, 8:20 p.m. ET
  • Where: Acrisure Stadium (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania)
  • Channel: NBC
  • Streaming: DIRECTV (try it free)

A Steelers win tonight would make Rodgers the fifth quarterback in NFL history to win against all 32 NFL teams.

Here’s how to tune in to Packers vs. Steelers on Sunday Night Football without cable.

Packers vs. Steelers start time:

Tonight’s (Oct. 26) Falcons vs. 49ers game is scheduled to start at 8:20 p.m. ET.

How to watch Packers vs. Steelers for free:

If you don’t have cable, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to stream the Falcons vs. 49ers on Sunday Night Football for free. One option we love is DIRECTV, which comes with five days free and starts at $49.99/month, with plenty of subscription options and genre packs that include NBC.

Sling TV is another affordable way to stream NFL games; its Select plan includes NBC and starts at $19.99/month.

2025 Sunday Night Football schedule:

  • Week 8: Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers – Oct. 26
  • Week 9: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders – Nov. 2
