Already without quarterback Justin Fields, Jets coach Aaron Glenn ruled out two more starters for Sunday’s road game against the Bucs.

Defensive end Jermaine Johnson, who suffered a torn Achilles in Week 2 last year and missed the rest of the season, won’t play in Tampa because of a sprained ankle, Glenn said before Friday’s practice in Florham Park.

Wide receiver Josh Reynolds also will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring issue, Glenn added.

Johnson didn’t record a sack in either of his first two appearances this season, both losses, in his return from Achilles surgery.

Michael Clemons likely will replace Johnson in the starting lineup opposite left end Will McDonald IV, with Tyler Baron and Braiden McGregor also available on the edge.

Glenn on the Jets’ week of practice following an 0-2 start:

“Listen, our guys are upbeat. They’re motivated. Here’s what they know: It was Week 2, and the sky’s not falling. As much as we all think it is, as much as all the outside noise, as much as you guys write about that, the sky’s not falling. I’ve been a part of that situation before, so our guys can rely on that. A lot of our coaches have been a part of that situation before, and they can rely on that, and some of these players have, too. So, guys, we are looking forward to moving on, [we’re] 0-2, the sky’s not falling.”

Defensive tackle Jay Tufele (illness) and kick returner Kene Nwangwu (hamstring) also are listed as out for Sunday’s game.

Safety Tony Adams (hip), cornerback Michael Carter II (shoulder) and linebacker Marcelino McCrary-Ball (hamstring) are questionable.

Adams was limited, but the latter two were full participants in Friday’s session.

Glenn confirmed that undrafted rookie Brady Cook will be elevated to QB2 for Sunday’s game vs. the Buccaneers behind Tyrod Taylor with Fields sidelined with a concussion.
