Dave Coulier’s battle with Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma got so tough that the actor was “prepared” to die after his fifth round of chemotherapy.

The “Full House” star opened up about his cancer prognosis in an interview with Parade magazine published on Monday, March 31.

Coulier, 65, revealed that he has finished chemo and a recent biopsy on a lymph node in his neck showed “no sign of cancer.” The actor also said that he is still awaiting the results of a CAT scan to determine whether his cancer battle “will be in the rearview mirror.”

“Melissa and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,” he told Parade, referring to his wife, Melissa Bring. “One of the few times in my life when ‘zero’ has been a great number to hear.

“I was in such a daze when I walked out of the hospital, my wife looked at me when we got in the car, and she goes, ‘We forgot to ring the bell,’” Coulier added regarding his sixth and latest round of chemo last month.

“Though I wanted to move around and go out and work around the house,” he said, “I just couldn’t.”

While the “Fuller House” comedian’s Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma may be “in the rearview mirror” like he hopes, Coulier and his wife revealed that his cancer treatments were far from easy — especially following his fifth round of chemo.

“I think everybody’s mind goes there,” he told the magazine. “It’s part of the reality of life. Like, ‘Wow, this is really serious’ and ‘What’s the worst that could happen?’ I’ve seen it so often in my family.”

“After [the fifth round of] chemo, he was like, ‘I don’t know if I could do this again,’” Bring, 41, added. “He was like, ‘I’m prepared either way. If I die, I die. And if I can stay here, great. I want to.’ Those conversations were obviously so tough.”

Still, Coulier’s most recent biopsy results left him feeling more positive about a potentially full recovery. He also admitted that he finally feels like himself again.

“I’ll tell you this,” he said. “Today is the first day that I really feel like, ‘Wow, I’m feeling pretty darn good. I feel like myself.’ And it’s today.”

Coulier first revealed his diagnosis in November 2024. He explained that an upper respiratory infection resulted in swelling of his lymph nodes and pushed him to get tested.

“This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey,” Coulier said at the time. “I looked at how those words affected [Bring] and I thought, you know what, I’m going to be strong throughout this, not just for me, but I’m going to be strong for her.”

The stand-up comic has also looked to his family for strength amid his health battle, including his mom, sister and niece, who all tragically passed away from breast cancer.

“I lost my mom to breast cancer. I lost my sister Sharon to breast cancer. She was 36 years old. I lost my niece, Shannon. She was 29 years old,” he said in November.

“I saw what those women in my family went through,” Coulier added, “and I thought to myself, ‘If I can be just 1/10th of a percent as strong as they were, then I’m going to be just fine.’”

Coulier’s wife revealed in January that the actor’s treatments were getting more difficult.

“He has some really tough days, and as the chemo has been accumulating, it gets a little tougher and more difficult,” Bring said at the time.

“He has such a positive attitude, and you need that in order to really fight it,” she added. “Every morning, if he’s feeling up for it, we try to put on a song and do a little dance party with the dogs, because when you do feel good, you have to celebrate that too.”

Some of Coulier’s “Full House” co-stars have rallied around the actor amid his ongoing health battle. John Stamos, who starred as Uncle Jesse on the hit ABC sitcom, even faced backlash for wearing a bald cap in “solidarity” with Coulier.

“Nothing like throwing on a bald cap and flexing some Photoshop skills to show some love and solidarity with my bro,” Stamos, 61, captioned a series of Instagram posts in November.

“You’re handling this with so much strength and positivity — it’s inspiring,” he continued. “I know you’re going to get through this, and I’m proud to stand with you every step of the way. I love you.”
