Guards, guards and more guards.

The West Region is littered with some of the tournament’s top guards, from top-seeded Arizona floor general Jaden Bradley, No. 4 Arkansas phenom Darius Acuff Jr. and No. 5 Wisconsin dynamic duo Nick Boyd and John Blackwell to No. 6 BYU’s scoring machine AJ Dybantsa and No. 2 Purdue point guard Braden Smith.

The narrative for years is that guards win in March, that the best ones lead to long Tournament runs. That’s what makes the West so fascinating. The backcourts are electric.
