The US men’s national team’s camp that begins in just under a week is coach Mauricio Pochettino’s last chance to work with his players before picking the 26-man roster that will go to the World Cup in June.
So, the group Pochettino brings to Atlanta for a week-plus of training that ends with high-profile friendlies against Belgium and Portugal will say plenty about where things stand with the USMNT three months out from the most important tournament in its history.
