The police chase that led to Atlanta rapper Young Scooter dying from a freak injury may have been sparked by a fake 911 call about a naked woman being held hostage, according to cops offering a $5,000 reward in the hunt for the mystery caller.

The rapper — real name Kenneth Edward Bailey — died on his 39th birthday last week while jumping fences to escape a huge police response to the house he was in, authorities said last week.

Atlanta police have since released audio of the more than 10-minute emergency call — while offering a reward for help identifying the woman who called it in from a 911-only phone, making it harder to trace.

“I’m the neighborhood watch,” said the caller who refused to give her name as while claiming the house was a hotbed of drugs or prostitution run by guys who regularly showed off guns.

She reported seeing a “girl running outside naked” being fought by one of the guys — before at least three shots were fired, with the naked woman “bleeding profusely” from the head.

“He’s beating her bloody. He’s dragged her back in the house,” the caller said, saying she was being held hostage by one of the men “refusing to let her out” with “a child in danger as well.”

This situation is really serious! He’s punching her — if you guys don’t get here she’s gonna be really hurt!” the caller said.

However, police told a press conference that they did not find a woman there, nor any proof that any of the details from the 911 call were true.

Instead, they only found Young Scooter and another man — both of whom fled when cops started surrounding the property.

The rapper jumped over two fences, tearing a femoral artery as he fell, police said, while stressing that no shots were fired.

The rapper — who was famous for his collaborations with Future and Gucci Mane — died later that night in Grady Marcus Trauma Center in Atlanta.

It was unclear why the two men ran away, police said. The other man, who was not identified, returned home and has not been accused of any wrongdoing.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to lead the probe.
