LAS VEGAS — The Yankees are going in-house to fill the hole on Aaron Boone’s coaching staff.
The club has hired Dan Fiorito as its new first base coach, The Post has learned, promoting the organization’s outfield/infield coordinator to replace Travis Chapman.
Fiorito is expected to double as the Yankees’ infield coach, as Chapman did, and finish off the revamping of Boone’s staff heading into 2026.
Gone are Chapman, bullpen coach Mike Harkey and assistant hitting coach Pat Roessler, and in are Fiorito, Desi Druschel and Jake Hirst.
The 35-year-old Fiorito previously served as the manager at Double-A Somerset in 2022 and High-A Hudson Valley in 2021, crossing paths with shortstop Anthony Volpe at both stops.
A Fordham Prep grad, Fiorito played all four infield spots during his time in the Yankees’ minor league organization from 2013-16 before he transitioned to a coaching role
