We may have been given a peek into the future of Paul Heyman guys in WWE — even if it was ever so briefly.
WWE actually teased, at least for a short while, the idea of Logan Paul starting to lean more babyface after being attacked by The Vision to open Raw. He then looked like he was going to come to CM Punk and Jey Uso’s aid to close the show. Instead, he used his signature brass knuckles to knock out Punk in front of Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Then, Paul and Heyman had a moment. The two locked eyes as Heyman was telling Paul it was his move, as he held Reed and Breakker back.
The YouTube star-turned-wrestler then slowly took off his brass knuckles and gave them to Heyman before smugly and confidently backing up in a way as if he was almost showing off for Heyman, whose face flashed some evil knowing Paul was on their side.
